Hyderabad: In a spectacular display of discipline, unity, and martial arts excellence, 1,212 karate athletes created history by securing a **Guinness World Records title at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad on 26th April 2026. The grand event marked a significant milestone in India’s martial arts landscape and stands as a proud achievement for the Telugu states.
The record-breaking event was jointly organized by the Jayanth Reddy International Taekwondo Academy and the Vision Martial Arts Academy. Participants from nearly 10 states, including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, gathered at the venue to take part in the massive synchronized karate demonstration.
In a precisely coordinated performance lasting 11 minutes, all 1,212 athletes executed a series of punches, kicks, and defensive blocks in perfect unison. The scale and synchronization of the performance impressed both spectators and officials, as millions of movements were performed within a short duration.
The event was closely monitored by an official representative of Guinness World Records, Swapnil, who evaluated the attempt according to strict international guidelines. Following the successful completion of the performance, he praised the participants and organizers for their exceptional coordination and discipline.
Speaking on the occasion, Swapnil remarked that achieving such a record with over a thousand participants performing in harmony for 11 minutes was a remarkable accomplishment. He officially presented the Guinness World Record certificate to the organizers, marking the successful completion of the attempt.
Renowned Grand master M.Jayanth Reddy, who has previously achieved multiple world records, expressed immense pride over the achievement. He stated that organizing such a large-scale demonstration required months of preparation, dedication, and teamwork. He further added that the primary objective behind organizing the event was to promote awareness about martial arts and encourage youth to adopt disciplined and healthy lifestyles.
The event also saw the presence of several prominent instructors and organizers, including Master Vittal of Vision Martial Arts Academy, along with Suman Palle, Sridhar, Mohammed Pasha, Gajneder and others, who played a key role in coordinating the program.The atmosphere at the stadium was filled with enthusiasm as participants showcased their skills with precision and confidence. Parents, coaches, and spectators applauded the performers for their dedication and effort in achieving this historic milestone.
